For all those active iphone users out there, this is the fitness app for you. As a regular gym goer I find myself getting bored and my body getting used to the exercises I throw at it. Some times you have to shock the body to whip it in to shape! This is where the iFitness iphone/itouch app comes in to play.
The app has numerous routines that you can choose from which included exercise regimes targeted at the different routines. These could be cardio or strength or even muscle building. Hell, the latest updates have now included workouts specific to sports such as golf exercises, tennis, and lets not forget baseball :).
If the routines don't take your fancy you can always make your own. The app has a huge database of different exercises that are all categorised depending on what muscle group or what type of training it is. Each exercise is explained in detail and also contains pictures and how you do it. Now this is invaluable especially if you're going for that shock the body exercise. Some of the exercises I had never heard of or thought of which means I now have a huge variation of exercises I can do.
You can also log your results in this app and follow your progress and results over time. The developers are contantly improving this app and adding new exercises to it on a monthly basis. I would highly recommend this app for the gym bunnies or those that need a bit of guidance for what they can do at the gym.
